De nieuwste technieken op het gebied van productieautomatisering staan centraal op de Factory Automation. In negen hallen worden voor de machinebouw relevante thema’s getoond zoals beeldverwerking, sensorica, industriële communicatie, aandrijftechniek en robotica. Bovendien spelen de thema's elektrische aandrijvingen, Motion Control, Industrial Identification en Clean Production een grote rol. Het beursgedeelte Mobile Robots & Autonomous Systems toont innovatieve technologieën en nieuwe toepassingsgebieden.
