Op maandag 3 en dinsdag 4 maart vindt het internationale Precision Technology Event on Opto Mechanics (IPTE2008) plaats in het Palace Hotel Noordwijk. Tijdens dit nieuwe event worden de technische en industriële trends op het gebied van de nieuwe discipline van opto mechanica besproken. Het conferentieprogramma biedt roadmaps die laten zien welke kant de industrie zich in beweegt en technologie trends die laten zien welke enabling technologieën de opto-mechanische industrie voortstuwen.
Naast een congresprogramma met sprekers uit de hele wereld is ook een netwerk showcase aanwezig waar bedrijven uit deze industrie hun producten en technische ontwikkelingen laten zien.
